Fishing Aboard an Alaskan Cruise
The waters of Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska are some of the most fertile fishing grounds on the planet. Fishing is one of the favorite activities of guests aboard the Dream Catcher.
Aboard the Dream Catcher, you’ll always have the opportunity for a little fishing. You can drop a line right off the deck pretty much any time you want to. We have rods and reels for you and our deckhand will even clean and filet your catch for you. A great way to make friends on your Alaskan cruise is to catch them dinner.
Depending on the season all five species of salmon, halibut, rockfish, cod, steelhead are plentiful. There are many more types of fish that you may encounter, as Alaska’s waters hold some of the most diverse collections of fish in the world.

"Bringing home filets of frozen halibut and rock fish were an unexpected perk on our cruise. Our only concern now is finding enough freezer space at home for our catch!"
"The coolest thing about fishing on the boat was eating it right afterwards. If we caught a fish that day, the chef was only too happy to cook it up for us. That went for the crab and shrimp as well."
